They make me crave chocolate and give me an overwhelming urge to shop.
So here I am eating Nutella on toast while I blog about a few purchases I made today.
I’ve been eyeing this cute tea-dress in Dorothy Perkins for a while. I love anything with bows on and now that I have an actual date for my return to work I couldn’t resist picking it up. I work part-time in a shop and we have a black & white dress code so this will be perfect. 
I spotted these Vivienne Westwood-esque studs in Accessorize. The heart necklace replaces a similar one that was much-loved and well worn. It’s lost somewhere in the deepest depths of our house (or perhaps just in my daughter’s jewellery box).
I gave into the lure of the Revlon stand in Boots (it’s by far my favourite drugstore brand) and picked up another matte lipstick in the shade ‘Strawberry Suede’. So pretty.

Very cute dress! I feel like Dorothy P has upped its game a bit as I’ve see much more stuff I like recently. I must give one of those matte lipsticks a go.
@Ondine You’re so right about Dotty Ps. I have gone years without picking up a thing in there and all of a sudden it’s taking over my clothing wish list! Oh and you really must pick up one of the Revlon Mattes. They’re fabulous.
