Aaaaaaaaahhhhh I love Judy.

And I love Lush.

So a new bubble bar inspired by what is probably Miss. Garland’s most well known performance was bound to grab my attention. Lush’s stunning new ‘Dorothy’ bubble bar is a joy to behold… and bathe in. Nestled atop each vibrant blue cake of bubbly goodness is a bright, cheery rainbow (See what they did there? Clever, no?). Once I crumbled this into my bath it turned the water a fabulous shade of peacock blue and, of course, it produced the wonderful fluffy bubbles that I’ve come to expect from Lush’s bubble bars. They really can’t be beaten in my humble opinion.

Those that are familiar with Lush’s range might recognise the scent of this product as it uses the same fragrance as the Figs & Leaves soap. This has long been a staple in our bathroom. It’s a super creamy and softening bar packed full of aloe vera and fresh mashed figs. The soap also has a slight exfoliating quality to it thanks to the teeny tiny seeds of the figs.

I’d describe the fragrance as an exotic floral, it combines ylang ylang and orange flower absolute to great effect. If it’s possible, I think the bubble bar smells even better than the soap… the perfume is intensified somehow. I climbed out of the bath yesterday evening feeling deeply relaxed and calm. It’s a truly beautiful product, so beautiful in fact that I picked up two more today!
