I know this is a little early but as I’m working tomorrow morning and then retreating to my parent’s house in Dorset for the weekend I thought I’d take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy Easter. I hope the bank holiday weekend brings you lots of rest, relaxation and (most importantly) chocolate!
Have a quick peek at my favourite Easter related movie. My daughter and I have already watched this once this week… while eating hot cross buns, just to really put us in the mood! It features Judy Garland and Fred Astaire at their best and the wonderful, leggy Ann Miller also dances superbly. If you look closely during the film you can see that in all the scenes where Miller dances with Astaire she’s wearing flat ballet pumps. She was far too tall to partner him in her heels! I adore the make-up look she sports in one of the early scenes (you can catch it at 1:08 in the YT clip). The more I think about it, the more I need some orange toned lip products in my life!
