I am so desperate to visit the Grace Kelly exhibition that’s currently running at the V&A museum in London. I’m homesick at the best of times but this evening I’m feeling positively jealous of any London gals who can just hop on the tube and wander round my favourite museum. I need to plan a trip home right away. In the meantime, I’m going to dig out my copy of High Society to help ease the pain a little.
Has anyone visited the exhibition? I simply cannot wait to go!

No but I’d love to! Her life story is so fascinating, I recently read about her in a magazine.
I may have read the same article in a magazine at the hairdressers the other day. Fascinating life story and so elegant and beautiful. I’m going to try and go in August, I’m owed a trip to London soon!

I went to the exhibition the day it opened and I’ve got to say, you’re really not missing anything. I was really underwhelmed. The problem was, it was about 30% To Catch A Thief classic Grace Kelly in her heydey- Hermes Kelly bags, little gloves and pretty classic dresses, and 70% grotesque late 70’s/80’s gaudy dresses that she wore when she was much older and was far past her film career.
Seriously, most of it was nasty- big orange 80’s swirly print dresses and stuff is all I remember. The classic Grace Kelly look was very, very under-presented.
I wouldn’t recommend it at all.
@Anonymous Girl Oh no! That’s so dissapointing! Oh well, I truly love the V&A so I’ll just have to wander round the other galleries instead!
