Well this is a first. I’ve never featured a man in our weekly dose of glamour before. Why should the girls get all the credit hey? I have a terrible crush on Cary Grant actually and I’d venture that there’s something deeply glamorous about a smouldering man in a tux. I definitely would.
I’m a world cup widow this evening. Mr. LA was out the door and down the pub before the children were even in bed. As soon as I’ve dragged myself away from the laptop I’m planning a Sex & The City marathon accompanied by my trusty glass of Blossom Hill. Mmmmmm…. white wine on a summers evening, perfect.
The weekend will be a quiet one. I’ve got plenty of chores to be getting on with and if the weather’s nice I’ll expect we’ll head to the river on Sunday.
How about you ladies? Regale me with your glamorous plans for this evening. Fun filled weekend ahead I hope?

Cary certainly is smouldering in his tux isn’t he 🙂
I’ve just watched the England game, got very frustrated and now wish I could have a glass of wine to chill out, hehe!
Busy weekend this week, got the second antenatal class tomorrow, then our tour of the maternity ward in the afternoon, and then out for a girls night with plenty of Chinese 🙂
Sunday is Father’s Day, Colin’s doing the London to Brighton bike ride – 54 miles! I’m off out for a surprise meal with family who I haven’t seen for 8 years dropping in as the surprise…will be knackered come Monday!

Mmmmm Cary Grant is lovely!
A sorta glamorous friday eve for me… our village carnival disco, which meant at least I changed out of my jeans and T shirt into my super skinny jeans, long dressy t shirt and heels!
Then home to drop the little un’s off before feeding my neighbours chickens (and got very very excited they had lay 4 eggs for my breakfast tomorrow) popping over to feed my friends animals and check her house (everyone is on holiday why aren’t I?) before going over to another friends for wine and nibbles instead of the footie!
Nothing planned for the weekend, just chilling.
Have a good time

@Laura Wow, you have got a busy weekend. I hope the antenatal class goes a little better this week. Enjoy you girls night, I LOVE chinese food but I couldn’t eat it when I was pregnanat without needing a gallon of Gaviscon afterwards!
Colin’s bike ride made me smile! I have vivid memories of seeing my Dad off on the London to Brighton bike ride! I hope he enjoys his first ‘almost a father’ father’s day!
Hope you’re not too tired out by the end of the weekend.
@Shadow Your evening sounds lovely, fancy feeding chickens, my daughter would love that!!

a sex & the city marathon sounds amazing. i helped my sister-in-law with a garage sale today so me & my little one are completely wiped out. i think i’m just going to watch something on tv (sex & the city sounds really good…) and have a beer. no glamour for me (and its saturday now, not friday) but i’m looking forward to it anyway!
ps. i tagged you in blog! 🙂
