- Sleeping late.
- Getting up very slowly, think long breakfast accompanied by numerous cups of tea followed by a very long shower.
- Wondering if I’ll ever get bored of Chanel Genial lipstick.
- Slathering the children (and ourselves) in sunscreen and wandering into town.
- Not managing to hide my disappointment when I couldn’t quite get the zipper up on the vintage dress I spied on Friday. It fitted me perfectly everywhere else. Guess it just wasn’t meant to be.
- Eating the best pizza in town. It was lovely sat in the sunshine down by the river. We always get a huge 16″ pizza and a side of onion rings between the four of us and we’re usually so full that it’s a real struggle to walk up the hill to get home!
- Coming home and crashing out on the sofa. We all napped for a couple of hours, it was heavenly.
- Cooking the children a light supper and tucking them into bed.
- Eating a big bowl of noodles followed by half of a really ripe and very juicy melon while we watched an episode of the Mighty Boosh.
- Curling up with Mr. LA and watching Julie & Julia. I enjoyed this film so much, it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! If you like food and love blogging I’d really recommend you see it.
- Cooking and eating pancakes.
- Sharing a shower with Izzy.
- Loving No. 7 Dual Protection Tinted Moisturiser. This, a little concealer and a light buffing of MAC MSF Natural was all I wore today and I felt great.
- Wearing cream blush (Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Raspberry) and highlighter (Benefit Highbeam).
- Hating having to go to the supermarket.
- Finally getting my fringe trimmed.
- Baking a batch of cookies from the frozen dough I had saved in the freezer.
- Heading over to our friends house to watch the football. The less said about this the better. Shameful.
- Loving the sunshine.
- Eating a yummy fish pie.
- Wishing Mr. LA didn’t have to go away for work this evening.
- Bringing the children home, putting them to bed and wondering how they will ever manage to fall asleep in the heat.
- Trying to catch up on housework and get the house in order before it starts all over again for another week.
- Wishing I had some chocolate.

Sounds like a perfect weekend xx
Yay for the No7 TM, it’s lovely isn’t it 🙂
Your weekend sounds perfect, but such a shame about the vintage dress…some things just aren’t meant to be, plus, it must have been teeny tiny to not fit you!
Hope you don’t miss the Mr too much, chat to me if you’re lonely 🙂

I’ve just posted about the No. 7 tinted moisturiser- bought it today and love it! Looking forward to wearing it tomorrow and seeing how it lasts.
Sounds like a lovely weekend- domestic bliss! x
hello, i had to quickly pop by to tell you i went to the Grace Kelly exhibition at the Vand A on saturday. I remeber reading in a post that you wanted to go and then someone left you a comment saying it wasn’t that great. Well i thought it was wonderful, so if you get a chance to come up to london you should really take a look (you must book tickets though. I have just blogged about it. LissyLou xx
@Nicoltta It was my lovely 🙂
@Laura Yes it is, thanks so much for the tip!
It was a shame about the dress but probably for the best as I’m supposed to be watching the pennies! Mr. LA said the same thing, he can almost get his hands round my waist so he couldn’t believe that anyone could have a tinier middle than me!
@Daisy Glad you like the TM so far. It lasts reasonably well on me, I need a bit of powder over the course of the day (but then I always do) and some scarring I have on my chin shows through towards the end of the day but I can live with that as I love the glowy finish so much.
@LissyLou Oh thank you so much, I def want to go after reading your post. I adore the V&A anyway and the dresses look stunning. I’m going to try and come up towards the end of the summer to visit friends so hopefully I can fit it in then.
