OK, so not exactly the most flattering photographs I’ve ever taken of myself.
But… what I hope you can see (in spite of the grumpy facial expression and the slightly dodgy fringe moment I seem to be having) is my ‘everyday face’. That is, the quick and easy make-up that has been serving me very well during the wonderful run of hot weather we’re currently experiencing here in the UK.
I’m totally hooked on the No. 7 TM and I’m loving using creamier products in conjunction with that. I find that as long as I set the cream products I use on my cheeks with a touch of powdered blush it withstands the heat every well. The eyes are very simple, a wash of colour all over and then some bronzer in the crease to give them a little definition. I just don’t feel like wearing heavy eye-make up when it’s this warm, I’m terrified it will migrate as I sweat! I recently rediscovered MAC’s Pink Lemonade. It’s such a pretty colour that I’m prepared to overlook the fact that, as a rule, I loathe MAC’s lip glosses (sticky, yukky mess that always, always leave me with that lip gook at the corners of my mouth).

The cheek combo looks divine on you! I’ve also switched to TM for summer, the one I’m loving right now is 100% Pure Tinted Moisturizer with Fruit Pigments – a great all-natural moisturizer with just just a hint of color! xxx
Loving the lip and cheek colours on you! My fringe is going through a really awkward stage at the mo – all I want to do at this moment in time is shave my bloody hair off completely! lol x
Your eyelashes are soooo long and Bambi like 🙂 You look beautiful as the other girlies have said, that cheek combo looks gorgeous, and I’m loving the lips 🙂

@Lollipop I have moments like that about my fringe too! I had it trimmed the day after I took these so it’s in a slightly better state now but it can still have a mind of its own!
@Laura Thank you honey, would you believe my eye-lashes were affected by pregnancy just like the hair on my head. Loads of them fell out after Jesse was born and they’re only now getting back to their usual length. Bloody hormones, hey! I’m glad everything is getting back to its usual state too, although my hair still has a bit of growing to do yet!
@RMb Awwwww thank you honey, I get them from my Dad. You should see my daughter’s lashes, they’re even longer than mine.
