- Recovering. I’m still full of cold.
- Ignoring the big black clouds in the sky and taking the children to the park anyway.
- Loving Mr. LA for relieving me of my childcare duties on Saturday afternoon so I could sleep.
- Enjoying some spicy fajitas.
- Watching Gossip Girl and eating a double decker.
- Going to bed early.
- Getting up very early.
- Realizing that a 5am start and getting ready in near darkness is a recipe for make-up disaster!
- Driving to Buckinghamshire with my mum to visit a very exciting wedding venue.
- Falling in love with aforementioned venue.
- Heading into London, parking up and catching the tube to South Kensington.
- Meeting my Godmother.
- Eating pizza. Mmmmmm!
- Wandering around the Grace Kelly exhibition at the V&A and loving every minute of it, so inspiring.
- Getting caught in a rain storm.
- Heading out of London.
- Stopping off for a cup of tea at my uncle’s house.
- Passing Mr. LA on the doorstep! He had to dash out to a party as soon as I arrived home.
- Watching more Gossip Girl.
- Having another early night.
- Letting a rather hungover Mr. LA lie in.
- Going for a walk around the University campus in the sunshine. It’s really beautiful, very lush and green.
- Thinking about my (not quite) Sister-in-law who was induced this morning.
- Eating pasties on cathedral green.
- Watching the children run around yet another park.
- Making my first wedding related purchase! Izzy’s bridesmaid dress = DONE!
- Discovering that Mr. LA’s sister had been taken into theatre.
- Holding our breath.
- Sitting down to eat Macaroni Cheese.
- Being interrupted by a phone call and welcoming Layla Carla to the world, all 8lb 13oz of her!!
- Repeating the phrase ‘we have a niece’ over and over! Sounds silly but it’s hard to imagine a little girl alongside our 2 nephews.
- Realizing that broodiness is going to be my default setting for a while!
- Running myself a bath.
- Searching for my ‘Pride and Prejudice and Zombies’ book. Excellent by the way. Hilarious in fact, especially if you’re an Austen fan like me!
- Digging out my new bottle of Revlon Red nail polish to give myself a pedicure.

Hope you’re feeling better.
Reading that was like being on rollercoaster! lol What a great weekend you’ve had…apart from the recovering bit! Hope you’re feeling better now. Glad it’s not just me that is stuck on broodiness mode. I’ve started noting names I like down in a notebook…it never hurts to be prepared! 🙂

@Ms. Wedgie Can you imagine what living it was like then!! The thing is I’m broody but I know I don’t really want anymore children! I guess my uterus is just a little confused. The funny thing about names is that you change your mind about them so easily. For example, when we were expecting the 2nd time we’d gone off all the names we didn’t use the 1st time, which is crazy when you think we would have gladly given them to a baby back then! Or maybe we’re just fickle! But yes, be prepared!!
@L Thank you so much for the link, and for thinking of me! I read her blog sporadically but I hadn’t seen those images, so beautiful and very much along the lines of what I want.
