- Sleeping in.
- Eating scrambled eggs for breakfast.
- Buying a bridesmaid dress.
- Being stubborn.
- Feeling sorry for myself.
- Sitting in Starbucks alone, reading and drinking my mug of hot chocolate.
- Getting my hair done.
- Wondering if my new hair colour is a little too dark. Oh well, it’ll fade.
- Cooking roasted butternut squash spaghetti lasagna (from Tana Ramsay’s ‘Real Family Food’). A highly labour intensive dish but, my god, it was good!
- Spending far too much time on the Internet once the children were in bed.
- Reading in bed before having an early night.
- Wearing berry lips and loving it (MAC Most Popular for reference).
- Playing with Jesse while Mr. LA took Izzy to see Toy Story 3 at the cinema.
- Loving the excitement in Izzy’s voice as she told me all about the movie.
- Taking a walk down to the river in the sunshine.
- Bumping into friends.
- Wandering home via the park.
- Having a go on the swings.
- Despairing at the state of my nails. If anyone knows of a miracle cure for weak, peeling nails please fill me in!
- Getting all excited (and a tiny bit broody) when we heard our close friends had had their baby boy. Welcome to the world Austin Andrew!
- Realising that someone we know has a had a baby every week for the last 3 weeks. We have one more set of friends expecting, and she’s due any day now! One thing’s for sure, I’m getting very good at picking out new baby presents!
- Baking a batch of cookies from some dough I had in the freezer (I posted the recipe here).
- Drinking tea.
- Eating left overs for dinner. Is it just me or do some things taste even better when they’ve been nuked in the microwave!
- Attempting to tidy the house. I need to just accept that we exist in a pretty much permanent state of chaos.
- Putting the children to bed.
- Longing for a glass of wine and a double decker, sadly we have neither in the house.

your weekends always sound so lovely 🙂
Your weekend sounds lovely…BUT having no wine or Double Deckers is not a good way to end it Franky!!! Looking forward to checking out the new hair 🙂 xxx

Sounds fun, please post a pic of your new hair color! xxx
Sally Hansen Nailgrowth Miracle is the only nail growth/strengthening product that actually works in my opinion..completely stopped my nails splitting and then ends peeling, and made them grow noticably longer in a week! Its the one that comes in the gold bottle xx
@Jennifer Thank you, I do edit out all the boring/horrible stuff though 😉
@Laura I got my double decker this morning, thank goodness!!
@The BBB It really was, the sun came out and everything!
@Rocaille I will, although it’s proving a little difficult to capture on camera!
@sophie rosalind Thank you so much for the tip, I will def be picking this up. I tried the miracle cure (in theblue bottle) a while ago and had good results, don’t know why I didn’t think of her products earlier!

I’ve been wanting to try this system since I read about it on Get Lippie. It’s hard to come by in the US and a bit pricey. I am getting married in a month (AH HOLY CRAP!) and plan on getting silk wraps. This Mavala system might be perfect for when they’re removed.
