My other favourite Hepburn. I adore Katharine’s style and she stars in a great many of my favourite movies. I’ve always felt she came across as a strong, determined woman in a lot of her films. As those are the two main qualities I’m trying to chanel this week she’s taking pride of place in tonight’s weekly injection of glamour.
Still no news from Uni. Stress and tiredness have left me with little motivation to blog this week so I apologise for the lack of posts. I’m sure I’ll be back to my usual form eventually. This evenings plans include pizza and general laziness in front of the television. Not much glamour there! I am wearing the new Orange Blossom solid perfume that I picked up in Lush this afternoon though, so all is not lost. It’s heavenly by the way, fresh, fruity and floral all at the same time.
We haven’t decided how we’re going to spend the weekend yet. Mr. LA’s brother is visiting so we may take a trip to the coast. I’m hoping to find some time to bake cupcakes but beyond that we’ll just have to see where the wind takes us!

After the next feed, I’ll be going to bed, and hoping Jamie does another 5 hour stint like he did last night, it made me feel ‘almost’ human again! Was going to attempt a bath for first time since c-section (don’t worry, I have washed in the shower, hehe!), but I’m too sleepy to bother now!
I hope you enjoy your weekend whatever you end up doing! Your dinner sounds nice, really fancy pizza…I’ve been 100% lazy and stuck fish fingers and chips in oven!

In the evening we’ll probably watch another episode or two of Heroes and I have a pedi planned as well. Tomorrow we’re going to a bday and goodbye party to our friends and I have no idea on what to wear! xxx
Oooh yes, the Hepburns are very lovely. Srry you haven’t heard from uni yet, that must be driving you nuts. Hopefully soon you’ll hear. I’ve spent my evening battling with html for my work website with the odd break to sew lavender cushions. It is now way past my bedtime, and we are taking 6 children bowling tomorrow, then having a big sleep over. I think I’d better get to bed like 2 hours ago 😉
Kate is so gorgeous! I’m proud to share a birthday with her 😉 Have you ever seen her in Holiday with Cary Grant? It’s one of my faves. Better even than Bringing Up Baby, imho.
