• Sleeping in and then snuggling in bed with the children and Mr. LA.
  • Disappointing everyone by NOT making pancakes. I just wasn’t in the mood. Cue lots of ‘Ooooooooohhhh but MuuuuUUUUMM!!!’
  • Eating a huge bowl of porridge.
  • Trying out a new Lush soap in the shower. Smells delicious!
  • Opening the door with only half a face of make-up on as our guests arrived half and hour early. Grrrrrrrrrrr.
  • Leaving the children at home with the men (my lovely friend has a 6 month old daughter too) to go for spot of lunch and a well deserved trip around the shops.
  • Eating too much at Wagamamas.
  • Picking up a treat at the Chanel counter in Debenhams.
  • Helping my friend choose her first ever foundation.
  • Sniffing a million different perfumes.
  • Being transported back to my youth when I spritzed YSL Rive Gauche. My mum used to wear it and I was instantly reminded of her getting ready to go out with my Dad. My friend laughed when I said it smelt like having a babysitter!
  • Drinking cups of tea and watching the children play together.
  • Baking chocolate cupcakes with Izzy. I finally tried a recipe from the Hummingbird Bakery book I was given for my birthday, and I can highly recommend it. Check out one of my favourite blogs Afeitar if you fancy trying the recipe without the commitment of buying the book.
  • Cooking scampi and chips and peas. Mmmmmm!
  • Snuggling on the sofa with Mr LA, sipping Crabbies Ginger Beer and watching Dexter season 2.
  • Having a very lazy Sunday morning.
  • Feeling excited about seeing my Mum for the first time since she returned from her trip to Oz.
  • Loving green and purple eye shadow. It’s one of my favourite combinations. I ‘shopped my stash’ this morning and used my MAC Photorealism quad, GOSH Velvet Touch liner in Purple Stain and MAC Satellite Dreams e/s.
  • Wondering how it’s possible that my skin already has that crap winter look about it when it’s not even October yet.
  • Catching up with my Mum. Lots of wedding talk, it was lovely.
  • Eating leftovers for lunch.
  • Taking the children to the park.
  • Trying to catch up on housework.
  • Cooking macaroni cheese. Pure comfort food, the perfect Sunday night supper.
  • Bathing the children, reading lots of bedtime stories and tucking them in for the night.
  • Catching up on some blog reading.
  • (Hopefully) soaking in a hot tub full of Lush bubbles, drinking hot chocolate and then reading wedding magazines in bed.
