- Getting out of bed at stupid o’clock in order to get an hour and a half of uni work done before the children woke up.
- Loving my Mum for bringing me a cup of tea.
- Eating a yummy breakfast with the children and my Mum, Bonus Dad and sister.
- Praying Jesse wouldn’t plaster Weetabix all over my parent’s shiny new kitchen.
- Listening to Jesse shout ‘Meow Meow’ while following my parent’s cat all over the house. The poor thing had the patience of a saint and put up with an awful lot of fur pulling and tail grabbing over the weekend.
- Wearing minimal make-up. Lots of mascara, Well Dressed Blush and Chatterbox lipstick.
- Wandering round the market.
- Buying beautiful things for the wedding. Yup, I’ve started on the decor!
- Eating lemon drizzle cake and drinking tea.
- Catching up with family (the non-biological kind). My Step-Brother’s daughter was visiting from New Zealand.
- Settling down for an enormous Cold Table. My Step-Dad is Danish and this is a traditional meal which is quite similar to a Swedish Smorgasbord. It takes hours to eat and lots of Schnapps is consumed over the course of the meal.
- Marvelling at Jesse’s level of prawn consumption.
- Drinking red wine.
- Eating chocolate birthday cake.
- Playing shops with the 2 Isabels (My other Step-Brother’s daughter is 3 months older than my Izzy, and also happens to be called Isabel).
- Bathing a chocolate covered Jesse and tucking him into bed. Isabel was allowed to stay up late for a treat.
- Drinking more red wine.
- Looking forward to spending Christmas with my parents this year.
- Feeling peckish and indulging in a little fridge picking.
- Staying up far too late talking to my sister.
- Missing Mr. LA who sadly couldn’t join us as he had a film shoot on Sunday.
- Having a lie in.
- Regretting the previous night’s wine consumption.
- Eating a healthy breakfast. Fresh fruit, yogurt and some wholemeal toast.
- Taking the children to the park.
- Enjoying the beautiful autumn weather. Chilly but brilliantly sunny, clear blue skies.
- Encouraging Izzy’s attempts at mastering the monkey bars at the playground.
- Eating left overs for lunch.
- Being driven home and enjoying the peace as both children slept in the back of the car.
- Cuddling Mr. LA and catching up.
- Cooking and eating an enormous macaroni cheese.
- Drinking Hot Chocolate.
- Attempting a little more uni work before my brain gives up for the night.
- Planning a warm bubble bath (I’m loving Lush Gingerbread House bubble bar right now) and a much needed exfoliating face mask.

Your weekend sounds lovely Franky, plenty of quality time with your bubbas 🙂 All the talk of that food is making me hungry! Can’t wait to see more wedding plans cropping up! xxx
Love “Bonus Dad”
Sounds like you had a lovely (but hectic) weekend.
Me too. We had my sister’s in laws staying with us so we’re trying to cram as many fun days out in as possible before they go home x
