- Feeling (and looking) very, very tired. Teetering dangerously close to burnout right now. 4 days to deadline and ready to drop.
- NOT waking up with a hangover after being very sensible at the work do I attended the night before.
- Eating bacon and eggs.
- Loving my new sheer top from Zara. Wore it glam on Friday night and dressed it down with jeans and flat boots on Saturday.
- Rating Clinique’s gel liner in True Black.
- Frenetically packing an overnight bag for us all.
- Giving my Mum a big hug when she arrived to pick us up.
- Purchasing a selection of possible wedding cover-ups from Monsoon (2 shrugs and a pashmina). They’re all going back, none of them were right. So the search for something to stop me freezing my tits off continues.
- Making the hour long journey to my Mum’s house in Bridport, Dorset.
- Drinking tea.
- Eating too much cheese. I take that back actually, there’s no such thing as too much cheese.
- Studying all afternoon.
- Missing out on a lengthy walk to the beach in the sunshine.
- Helping my Mum make pavlova. She couldn’t find all the pieces for her electric whisk so we had to make the meringue by hand! Hello aching arms.
- Drinking wine, eating food and doing the Telegraph pub quiz.
- Having 3 helpings of pudding. Ooops.
- Collapsing into bed.
- Snuggling with the children.
- Enjoying my mum’s cooked breakfast.
- Heading back to Exeter.
- Being met by the in-laws who have taken Izzy of our hands for the whole of half term.
- Watching Jesse pine for his big sister.
- Studying some more.
- Loving Mr. LA for cooking dinner,
- Eating the delicious Greek bean stew he prepared. It was gooooood.
- Tucking Jesse into bed.
- Forcing myself to do yet more studying.
- Needing a long soak in a warm bath.

Sounds like a lovely time, apart from the work! 🙁 Well done you for managing to do it all! I hope you get through the next 4 days and then can give yourself a BIG reward!
There is definitely NOTHING wrong with too much cheese 🙂 x
… or wine or pavlova for that matter! yum x
You can do this Franky! Think how good you’ll feel in 4 days…well, relieved at least! You can reward yourself with something nice 🙂
The rest of your weekend sounds lovely, and I hope you don’t all miss Izzy too much this week!
