While I’m well aware that to many Starbucks stands as a hideous example of two very modern plagues, globalisation and capitalism, I’m afraid I’m rather partial to their signature hot chocolate (but rest assured, as a family we actually do a lot to support local, independent businesses).
It seems that Jesse has also acquired the Starbucks habit, he’s rather partial to a baby mug of frothy milk with the faintest dusting of cocoa on top. I took these pictures on a family outing last Sunday. I was reminded of the tale of Goldilocks and the 3 bears when I saw Mr. LA’s enormous bucket of coffee, my middle-sized mug of chocolate and the children with their dinky cups of yumminess!

I have just realised you did a sociology degree! 🙂
And I am doing mine come September, how did you find the course, was it easy, hard?

Aww Jesse, he just gets cuter every single time doesn’t he?! LOVE these photos!
I’m not a tea/coffee drinker, so rarely step inside coffee house giants like Starbucks, BUT this summer I did come across their Strawberries & Cream Frappachinos – I dread to think how many calories are in them, but it’s like creamy heaven in a plastic cup!
@Parisa: I did a Sociology (& Social Policy) degree too – it’s certainly not a ‘doss’ course as a lot of people try to make out! What I liked about it was the relative freedom to learn about aspects that you are interested in, alongside the basic course requirements. I don’t think any degree is easy, and the harder you work, the easier it is to do well!
