- Madly packing, tidying and the cleaning the holiday cottage.
- Sending Mr. LA’s nanny a ‘Get Well Soon’ postcard. She’s got a nasty chest infection and wasn’t up to visitors while we were in Cornwall last week.
- In the car, in traffic, trying to entertain 2 children.
- Eating a car-picnic.
- Madly unpacking, tidying and cleaning my own home.
- Trying to catch up on the washing. And failing.
- Eating homemade macaroni cheese and loads of salad.
- Admiring my huge stash of Double Deckers, the children gave me around 30 for my birthday! Mmmmmmm…. chocolaty goodness!
- Cozying up to Mr. LA on the sofa to watch an episode of ‘Dexter’.
- Having a mini-panic about the future. As you do.
- Treating my skin to a thorough exfoliation followed by a face mask. The bathroom in the cottage was so cold, damp and smelly that I couldn’t face my usual double-cleanse each evening. I was a serious skincare slacker so I needed to make up for it in a big way!
- Bringing Jesse into bed for a snuggle.
- Eating scrambled eggs on wholemeal toast.
- Giving MAC Sable e/s a whirl.
- Wondering where on earth Jesse has hidden my concealer.
- Moving Jesse’s cot into his big sister’s bedroom. It’s official, Izzy and Jesse are roomies!
- Marvelling at just how big our bedroom is when you remove all the baby related junk. Bye bye cot, changing table, piles of clothes, nappies, toys…..
- Needing a hair cut and colour… desperately.
- Cooking an enormous vegetable curry (which Jesse demolished in seconds, definitely a curry fan!)
- Tucking the children into their beds, side by side, and wondering when exactly it was that they got so damn big.
- Listening to the rain, eating a Double Decker and blogging.
