After reading many a review, perusing numerous swatches and watching YouTube video after YouTube video, I wandered down to my local branch of Topshop this morning to pick up some of the new make-up collection.

I don’t *think* I was sucked in by the hype surrounding the launch. Its not that I had to have the things other bloggers were talking about, I just knew what I wanted to take a closer look at. Honest.

I picked up two of the nail polishes. I really like the packaging of these (and the rest of the line actually, but especially these), but then I am a sucker for polka-dots!

I brought home the shade Feisty which is a bright coral pink. It’s not particularly unique but it differs enough from others I own to justify the purchase. Plus, Izzy chose it! She is so sweet when we look at make-up together. She swatches things on her hands and examines products very closely. If I ask her to help me choose she’ll always go for the things that are pink or chock-full-o-glitter!!

I also picked up ‘The Big Easy’ which I would describe as a very blue lilac. I don’t own anything like this shade at all, although I’m sure it reminds me of an Illamasqua polish that I’ve seen somewhere on the web. Any ideas what this could be a dupe for? The polishes are £5 each which seems reasonable enough, but I reserve the right to withdraw that statement if the formulation turns out to be rubbish!

I absolutely love these shades, especially Neon Rose. I really, really hope they live up to my expectations. As other bloggers have said, they do have a fabulous cream to powder texture and they’ll be perfect for the summer months.

They swatch beautifully but unfortunately the little light that we did have today had already started to fade by the time I photographed these. Pinch (on the left) is relatively accurate but I failed to do justice to the fabulousness that is Neon Rose. Mizz Worthy did a much better job. Hopefully I can capture them in a FOTD at some point which might give everyone a clearer idea of the colours.
