Well… it’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for.

The BIG reveal.

I present to you, my wedding Choos…

The bag
The boxLet’s open it up…

What’s inside?I think we need a little flash photography for these babies… you know, so you can see the sparkles! And because there’s no such thing as too much shoe porn, here they are in all their glory…Even the soles are beautiful

Aren’t they exquisite?!I LOVE them so very, very much.

Maybe more than Mr. LA.

Can I just marry the shoes? Mr and Mrs Choo… has a nice ring to it don’t you think?

I first discovered ‘Lace’ via my most favourite wedding blog in the world, Love My Dress. Annabel featured a stunning wedding photographed by our very own wedding-photographer-to-be, Eliza Clare. I found everything about Dulcie and Sebastian’s wedding inspiring, but it was the bride’s shoes that really had me drooling. All over my laptop.

I proceeded to stalk them via the Jimmy Choo website. I flirted with a few other options… Louboutin’s, a gorgeous red pair of pumps from LK Bennett… but I kept retuning to that bookmarked page.

I wanted the Choos.

I needed the Choos.

So, during our visit to London this weekend, I arranged a visit to the boutique in Westfield. With Izzy and my best friend and bridesmaid Sarah at my side, I waited patiently for the sales assistant to unwrap the shoes.

My heart was thumping as I slipped them on.

They fit perfectly and it was love at first step.

And you know what? For a pair of almost-4-inchers they are incredibly, no, stupendously comfortable. You can really see the quality, and they smell expensive, which pleases me no end.

But the best bit is that these are, without doubt, dancing shoes. I feel like Ginger Rogers when I slip them on and that, my fellow shoe addicts, makes them worth every single penny.

And my, what a lot of pennies! At £325, I have officially spent more on the shoes for my wedding than I did on my dress. Which says it all really, doesn’t it?
