Not much in the way of words today, I’ve been working on my essay all day and my brain feels like goop. Isabel is unwell and asleep on the sofa and I feel pretty drained just from worrying about her. Couldn’t get her temperature down at all yesterday so made a mad dash up to A&E on my own with the two children as Mr. LA was away o n a video shoot all weekend. Thankfully she’s OK. So grateful for antibiotics and Calpol.
The pictures say it all really. We ate lunch at Darts Farm on Saturday and made the most of the sunshine. Sunday was a big cake day. We made Rose Cupcakes from the new Hummingbird Bakery book. Izzy dusted them with pink holographic glitter before sitting on the front step to eat them. Before our trip to hospital I managed to slip a Nutella Marble cake in the oven too. Yummy.
Needless to say, I ate far too much cake this weekend.

I heart Darts Farm. The Fish Shed (or whatever it’s called) is pretty much always where we head on our way down to Devon/Cornwall. We always spend an age looking around that whole place – as well as spending way too much dosh on all the lovely stuff they sell 🙂
I hope Izzy is well on her way to being well again – it’s so awful worrying about them being so poorly.
