- Snuggling on the sofa with the children, sipping tea and watching ‘Up’.
- Enjoying fried eggs on hot buttery toast.
- Loathing my congested skin.
- Wearing a red dress. Guaranteed to make me feel fabulous.
- Giving Izzy a rainbow manicure.
- Heading in to town for a spot of shopping.
- Buying my wedding ring! (You can take a sneaky peek here but it’s much more beautiful and sparkly in real life).
- Marveling at Jesse’s tantrum throwing skills. We have well and truly hit ‘the terrible 2s’ and it is exhausting.
- Eating hot dogs for lunch. Mr. LA cooks a mean sausage. He fries onion and melts cheese on them and everything. Mmmmm!
- Loving my new recipe book Nigella’s Kitchen. I plan to review this when I’ve attempted a few more recipes but so far, I’d consider it a must buy.
- Pottering in the kitchen while Mr. LA took the children to the park.
- Cooking and eating Mexican Lasagna and Avocado Salsa from the aforementioned cook book. It was delicious.
- Sipping prosecco and talking weddings with my friend Susie. She’s getting married in a few weeks and we love to compare notes.
- Feeling a little tipsy.
- Waking up relatively hangover-free.
- Hating Sunday morning studying. Depressing.
- Loving my new MAC lippy, Hibiscus from the Surf Baby collection.
- Enjoying a long walk to the river with Jesse while Izzy was at birthday party.
- Watching a swan with her brand new baby signets.
- Buying pretty pink shoes.
- Trying not to worry about my dissertation.
- Admiring the Mr as he got his glad rags on to go to an album launch for one of his clients. Networking = no working.
- Wishing the house would tidy itself.
- Planning an evening on the sofa and an early night.

Beautiful, simple, sparkly ring! Can’t wait to see in real life.
Really want that avocado salsa now.

Sounds blissful, shame about the studying, but the end is in sight now 🙂 I love those shoes *wonders if Colin would notice if I bought them too* they are fab! xxx
Sounds like a busy weekend! Oh, I remember the toddler years! I do like those shoes.
Did you cry during Up? I totally did and I’m not ashamed to admit it. I think even Mr L was a bit choked up!
Your wedding ring is gorgeous. I still haven’t decided between a plain band or a jewelled one but the one I like is similar to yours but in yellow gold. I bet it sparkles like hell – so pretty!
Apart from the studying/stressing about your dissertation and congested skin (oh, and the terrible 2’s), it sounds like a blissful weekend 🙂 xxx
The ring is beautiful, quite similar to the style I would like. Would go with my engagement ring perfectly!
Good luck with Jesse, I have heard from so many people that the terrible twos really do exist. I suppose it’s just their way of starting to assert some kind of authority. I guess you just have to look at it as part of him growing up and developing into his own person (so my Mum used to say about my toddler years!) – not that that makes it any easier when he tarts screaming the supermarket down I guess…
🙂 xx
Ooo my, you have been prolific since I was last here – I’m impressed that you can be bothered to come up with more words after you’re done with all those essays etc! Settling down with a cuppa to catch up here. PS – LOVE up too x
