The Wedding Sessions

Hosted in collaboration with The Little Wedding Helper, The Wedding Sessions is an inspirational day-long workshop aimed at both fledgling wedding entrepreneurs wondering where to start and established businesses that have misplaced their motivation.

Each workshop is filled with practical advice, anecdotal tips and lots of little lightbulb moments. The agenda is flexible and guided by your needs, but we’ll discuss how to develop ideas, spend time geeking out about social media, and encourage you to dive into the world of marketing and networking.

Chatting things through with people in a similar situation is often all you need for ideas to start flowing, sparks to start flying and that delicious wave of adrenaline and motivation to start washing over you. The Wedding Sessions is the perfect opportunity to spend a day nurturing your business using knowledge we’ve accumulated and the pitfalls we’ve stumbled into to make you better, smarter and brighter.

What Makes The Wedding Sessions Special?


Every Session we’ve run so far has been different from all the others. Although we have core topics to cover, we’re led by you and what you want to learn about, mull over and chat through.


We don’t hold a Q&A at the end, we encourage you to dive in and contribute to the conversation right from the start. We want you to shape your own experience and we don’t hold ourselves above anyone else.


We give you The Wedding Sessions Bible, an incredible resource packed full of knowledge and tools we think you’ll find helpful. It frames questions for you to ask yourself about your business and contains a whole raft of worksheets and guides to get your lightbulbs flashing.

About the speakers


Kirsten Butler is an award-winning wedding venue stylist who has changed the face of networking in the South West thanks to The Little Wedding Tweet-Ups. When not busy creating dynamic design schemes for her couples, Kirsten offers a consultancy to other wedding suppliers, helping them optimise their stand designs at wedding fairs and creating innovative boutique visual merchandising. As a judge for The Wedding Industry Awards, Kirsten is recognised as an expert within her field who has an eye on established and emerging talent around the country.


I’m an experienced copywriter and digital content creator who’s spent the last eight years working with small creative businesses primarily in the wedding industry. During this time, I’ve written everything from brochures and blog posts to PR pitches and product packaging. As well as helping you get to grips with the basic principles of content marketing, I have numerous nuggets of wisdom to share about developing an authentic, effective voice for your brand.
